The Inner Life of a Cell

Play the high-resolution version of the video:

The inner life of a cell

It very badly needs a narration to tell you what you are seeing, but it is cool even without it.

Jet powered bicycle

More more information on jet engines like this: Wren turbojets and Tiny Turbojet

What you are looking at in the second video is a pair of pulse jet engines. The guy with the mask is using a leaf blower to help start the engines. You can see, especially in the night shots, that these engines get really hot when they are running. There are lots of places on the Web to learn more about home-built jet engines. Try typing, for example, the phrase "build your own pulse jet engine" into Google. For example, see: Valveless Pulse Jet and How to build a primitive gas turbine engine
